ULTRA-RARE collector item with audiophile recording. Some collectors said that only 500 copies issued on LP & 24K Gold CD. Record Condition  :  STILL SEALED Cover Condition  :  STILL SEALED   The following information is from Jennifer Warnes website: "Jennifer would like you to know, too, that certain "audiophile" product in the form of 180g vinyl albums and "gold" CDs of Famous Blue Raincoat bearing the Classic Records and Rock The House logos is, with the exception of two hundred promotional copies, illegal product, produced without contractual authority and not identified and surrendered to Jennifer as required by a prior settlement agreement with Classic Records. Instead of purchasing this illegal product, we hope you will go to the on-line store and purchase the official re-release of Famous Blue Raincoat (2007) re-mastered with 4 previously unreleased tracks of recordings by Jennifer of Leonard Cohen songs, expanded artwork and other enhancements." This is one of the few copies that was not "surrendered to Jennifer" and is now one of very few legitimate copies to be offered for sale.   GRADING (visual grade only, play grade upon request)STILL SEALED Never opened in factory sealed / distributor sealed in either clean plastic shrink wrap or self-adhere bag.MINT Has been opened, but is still usually flawless with no damage whatsoever. Record & cover looks and sounds new.  NEAR MINTOnly slightest signs of handling. Record may has a non-audible flaw, labels may have a spindle trail. Minor unobtrusive surface noise are possible.  Cover may has slightest signs of normal wear.  EXCELLENTRecord May has few spindle trail, scuff marks and signs of some wear with only "barely detectable" crackles or pops.
