I found these four tapes with the records and i decided that i would buy a reel to reel tape player to see what was on them and see if they were the Beatles and they are the real thing, it is the history of the Beatles from their beginning in the 50s with songs i was not aware of some songs i heard them play! there are many interviews that you will probably never hear unless you own these tapes. there are 4 tapes i have played each one of them and sound quality is great and there is somewhere around 5 to 6 hours on all four tapes. Big Jim Nethleton and Long John Wade do the narrating and directing of these tapes and also interviews and i understand that Long John Wade was friend of John Lennon and traveled with Beatles. tapes came from radio station in scranton Pa. STATION WICK. these are not tapes you could have went in a store and bought, i do not know if there are any other copies of these in existence but i have looked and searched and i have found nothing close to what i have here. I recieved a call some years ago from the daughter of Long John Wade and she wanted to know if i had these tapes and wanted me to play a piece for here to see if it was her dad on them and she said it was and that he had passed away. the tapes are entitled the echoes and dreams. i guarantee these to be the real deal, and no disapointments here, i hate to sell them but i need the money more and i don't know what the value of these might be but i am sure it is much more than what i am selling them for! tapes are on scotch metal tapes. no shiping and handling charges in united states. thanks for looking..
